I am no expert in trouble shooting in daz or poser I do alot of trial and error or consulting forums for bits of info I am lacking. That's all I can really think of that might cause the shade difference. Maybe some slight adjusting to the specular map. I made the mistake of coping the settings over before I adjusted the reflection setting and it applied to the genitals and couldn't figure out why it was still brighter/darker then the main body texture.
#Genesis3 Female Genitalia skin
If you changed the main body texture to AOA subsurface check the reflection setting for the skin and see if its at 100% if it is drop it to your desired% or off. Hope this proves useful to anyone that uses it, thanks for reading. If you followed the tutorial your spot render should produce the same result as mine did, with the texture you created for the genital prop. (A fellow artist CNC55 brought to my attention that the UV's may revert to default) You should notice that everything looks matched, do a spot render to double check. Once you have changed the textures make sure the UV is set to that of the G2F skin texture.

You will need to change the BUMP, DIFFUSE, and SPECULAR on the genitalia closed to the ones you created for it. Assuming that you have created the genital image maps for the prop. This will do 2 things it will match the surface settings of the genital to that of the main figure skin and it will replace the genital mats with the textures from the torso of the G2F. Highlight 'default mat' and right click and 'paste selected surfaces'. Under the surfaces tree for G2F select 'hips' and right click and select 'copy selected surfaces.' Close the G2F tree and expand the 'Genitalia closed' tree. Now to apply these exact settings to the genital prop. Otherwise you won't know till you render and see it.) Once you have done that the shader at the top of the window should say AoA_subsurface now or which ever shader you changed it too. So check to see if it does for you as well. (side note, when I changed the shader to AoA daz added reflection to the skin mats on G2F. (Can use more then AoA shaders this is just an example) See image below. Go into your Daz library and go to shader presets>age of armour>subsurface and apply the 'subsurface base shader'. On the top of that window you will see 'Shader: omUmberSurface'. Click on skin to highlight it and you will notice that it has selected and highlighted only skin surfaces under the surfaces tree below. In Daz go to your surfaces tab and extend the G2F tree, under that you will see surfaces extend that tree as well. This is now where you want to match the shader on the genitals to that of the G2F skin texture. The Genital prop does support the omUmberSuface shaders now or I was trying to do it wrong in the first place. Should look like this Obviously the skin texture for the genital prop is not going match the rest of the G2F at this point. I am using the Lisa texture for Josie 6 in this tutorial. Apply the Skin texture to G2F that you are going to use in the scene. Start up Daz and load up your genesis 2 base female and the genital prop. So to save some others some time and hair here are the steps I used after consulting others on a couple forums and some trial and error. I spent a few days pulling hair out trying to get my created textures to render out properly when applied to the genital prop.

This tutorial will be explaining how to use those created textures in Daz studio.
